Long Cabin Stubby Horse
Bozo Mag is pleased to announce an exhibition of new paintings by Alexander Meadows, “Long Cabin Stubby Horse”.
Meadows’ work centers on closed eye hallucinations in meditative states through the medium of painting. From mining the nether-ness, Meadows’ translates a vision through an assemblage of technique where style acclimates to the content. Each image operates as a contagion on its own. While seemingly unrelated to each other, every painting navigates the expansion and contraction of the impossible.
Alexander Meadows was born in 1988. He received his BA from the University of California, Riverside and his MFA from California Institute for the Arts. He lives & works in Los Angeles.
